COURSE REPORT – APRIL 2025
That was definitely a month to forget with all that rain!
After the cyclone it hasn’t stopped raining and this is the first week of sun, and considering the worst weather possible for maintaining grass, our greens are still healthy with minimal disease.
The course staff cleaned up all areas, replaced bridges again and mowed what rough areas we could.
Rough mowers were dropped down in height to cut all fairways and surrounds just to get the grass back down.
Plenty of cart paths were washed out and have been repaired.
We have purchased 400 stakes and have painted all with either red or white, and these new stakes will go out throughout the entire course next month once we have snipped all dams, drains and hazard areas.
The new machinery shed plans are underway, with three containers arriving today in the carpark, and which will secure our machinery, while we work out of the pump shed on the 13th hole over the next few months.
There will be plenty of whipper-snipping and rough mowing to do this month, in between the machinery shed project.
