As a member of this Golf Club, you are also invited to join the Vets for only a nominal fee. So why should I do that? How do I qualify?

Why join Veterans Golf?

Veterans golf is thriving on the Sunshine Coast.

By joining one of the 11 clubs affiliated with our District, you become eligible for an extensive range of benefits for events on our annual calendar.

Each of the 11 clubs hosts Vets from the other clubs once per year. The cost of a game varies from $11-$15, though some clubs prefer to offer packages such as Game, Cart + Meal for around $45-$50.

Our District conducts 5 annual events, two events open to all District Vets and 3 team events

Open Grade Championship

Open 4ball Aggregate

Team Challenge

Team Ambrose

Team Matchplay

In addition, all Sunshine Coast District Veteran Golf Association members (SCDVGA) are affiliated with the State QVGU and National AVGU. This means that you can

Play Vets golf in a range of clubs throughout Australia

Play in the two State Veteran Golfers competitions each year

Play in the annual Australian Veteran Golfers Championship

For less than the cost of a bottle of wine a year, males 55years+ and females 50years+ who are members of one of the 11 SCDVGA clubs can start enjoying these benefits. This really is the BEST value for money you're likely to see, so why not join with the 1900 other Sunshine Coast Vets in our district and have some fun?
