Great conditions on Saturday for the Men's Foursomes Championships saw a good sized and hopeful field of players compete for the title.

Winners were Jarred Briggs and Jason Witney with a creditable score of 154 for the 36 hole event.  They ran away for the first 18 holes with a 74, and wilted a little to score 80 for the afternoon round, but were still easily good enough to leave the rest of the field behind.

The 36 hole nett winners were Sam Glenn and Simo Pallaspuro nett 132. The 18 hole a.m. nett winners Phil Stowe and Peter Sawyer, and the afternoon winners of Viv Lawson and Brett Maunder each netted the same score, a brilliant 62!
