What great weather to play golf, especially for the mixed foursomes - remember it was recently postponed due to rain.  So how did everyone fare?

The postponed Mixed Foursomes Championship was held finally in perfect winter weather on a very much dried out course. While the field of 20 was down on previous years, the competition was still fiercely fought.
As usual the stories of tricky situations told in the club house at the end of the day were entertaining and proved that while everyone is playing seriously to be a winner, they can also have a lot of fun.
A very big thank you to Del Scott who has sponsored this Championship now for many years.
The 2018 Mixed Foursomes Champions were Vicki Reilly and Scott Sommerville with a gross of 174 - only one stroke less than Susan Cahill and Greg Moore. The 36 hole net winners were Joan Grace and Peter Cahill with a net of 144 .
The 18 hole morning winners were Jo and Tom Emery with a 67 net.
The 18 hole afternoon winners were Gail Campling and Pat Mullaley with a 71.5 net.
